Thailand - Krabi

We crossed the border to Thailand by minivan - the first 4 hours in one which was great - really easy and no hassles. Then waited in Hat Yao for the next van for the second 4 hour leg to Krabi. Not so great. We got a totally packed old van which was suffocatingly hot. But we got there in the end and got a really cheap but pretty nice guesthouse for the night. We went to a night market for dinner and got some delicious food. Then found that luckily we had come on a night when there was a local festival/market so wandered around for the evening there. Next day was raining so we ran in between downpours to the ferry to go to Ko Phi Phi.
